And the GOOD keeps on coming. This is the second single, and first video released from Mumford & Sons’ new album, “Wilder Mind”. Their third album will reveal a new sound, breaking away from the familiar feel of “Sigh No More” and “Babel”. Marcus Mumford had taken a long look at himself, a soul-searching of sorts to discover if he could produce music outside of the foundation established from their first two hit albums.

The New Basement Tapes, a collection of Bob Dylan songs that were never produced, answered the questions inside of Marcus and the music community. His rendition of “Kansas City” and “When I Get My Hands On You” chilled to the bone and helped Mumford discover the boundless well of his creativity and talent could never be confined to a single sound. This time around the Sons left the banjo on the rack, and got electric on us.
Wilder Mind will be released in May, recorded at Air Studios, London and produced by James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Haim, Florence + The Machine). A number of the new songs were written at Aaron Dessner of The National’s studios in Brooklyn, New York. The Sons have already shared the single ‘Believe’ and played the album in full at intimate fan-club shows in London, Berlin, Los Angeles, Toronto and New York over the past month.
