Many music festivals I’ve written about have been in other states or in other countries which is where this music festival is different. This one is in Sonoma, California and is a fairly well known music festival if you love wine, food, good times and old school rock and roll. The B.R. Cohn Charity events have put on the Fall Music Festival since 1987 when the Doobie Brothers preformed and donated their time and memorabilia to help the needs of local charities and veterans all over the country. Now in 2015, the festival is still going strong and have added a few ‘new’ bands to the line up.

This years cast include, Ringo Starr and his All-Starr band, Chicago, Michael McDonald and of course the Doobie Brothers are back at it again. The festival is held in Sonoma county which is synonymous with good wine and delicious food. While this festival is geared more toward older generations it is open for the whole family and anyone who loves classic rock and roll and a good time.
Since 1987, the Fall Music Festival in Sonoma county has raised more than $3.5 million to help veterans all over the country and another $3 million to local food banks and school music programs. This is not over as the 2015 year is looking to bring in the most money yet of any past festival so far and will continue to grow for years to come.

The B.R. Cohn Charity is not only one of the most generous charities in Northern California, it is also one of the most memorable for all that they do in their local community and all over the country. They are a Good Sign.
